The company was founded in June 2006 and is headquartered in Shanghai (China). Furthermore, it has branches in countries and regions in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Japan, South Africa, and the United States.
The company works according to a vertically integrated system. Which means that the entire production process of photovoltaic panels takes place under one roof. This has the advantage that there are strict quality controls, optimal stock control and cost effective. There annual capacity of 9.2 GW for silicon wafers, 6.5 GW for photovoltaic cells, and 10.0 GW for photovoltaic modules.
The Jinko holding produces mono- and polycrystalline ingots, wafers, cells and an extensive range of Jinko photovoltaic panels. They are relatively inexpensive panels, which are extensively tested and inspected and which score well in the Photon test.
All panels have a high salt, moisture and ammonia resistance. Since 2013, the Jinko panels are guaranteed PID-free (Eagle series).
